Many questions arise while speaking with our clients and evaluating the potential to transition packaging their products in pre-made pouches. To shine a light on some of the most common questions we have encountered:

1. Fragile Products 

Will my product be damaged, or have the aesthetics ruined during the filling in bags?

A: The importance is in the interface design between the dosing/weighing and the entrance into the REVO Pro-1 machine to fill. Each product is studied with our technical team to design the proper interface not to break or damage the product’s aesthetics. Fragile products, like ice cream cones, were a design closely studied to avoid breakage.

2. Air Elimination

Is there the possibility of having the air squeezed out before sealing?

A: YES, it is possible. There are vacuum packing systems to press air out before sealing the bag. This helps with the conservation of certain products and also optimizes the shipping of products with less air.

4. SKU Sizes

Is there the possibility of running different formats and products on the same line?

A: Absolutely! One of the most highly noted benefits of the REVO Pro-1 machine is the ability to automatically change formats in less than 5 minutes! The change-over is registered and pulled out of the software, and all that needs to be done is manually change the pouches in the pouch feeder magazine. It is also possible to customize products with an integration of different dosing systems (ex. Augur filler and screw elevator, Multi-head Weigher) on the same machine for different product types that range from powders to cereals, for example. The pouch size ranges is from Width 80-250mm / Length 80-340mm.

5. Limited Plant Floor Space

Is there a possibility of integrating the system with limited floor space?

A: Continued questions regarding limited floor space have come to the surface for our clients. The benefit of our compact design is that it is flexible and compact to fit in very small spaces while keeping the same productivity as similar machines that fill pre-made pouches.
