Karlville and HP present Pack Ready Lamination Technology to Label Industry at Labelexpo Europe
Miami Florida – 09/14/2017
Pack Ready Lamination is a novel technology developed by HP Indigo, designed specifically to work with HP Indigo digital presses to deliver immediate time to market and significantly reduce the complexity and investment involved with entering flexible packaging converting.
The Pack Ready lamination process allows label converters to quickly and easily enter into flexible packaging with lower risk along with a pre-established supply chain of materials. The new market approach allows HP Indigo press users to thermally laminate Indigo printed film with Pack Ready film and instantly achieving high bond strength with HP Indigo ElectroInk.
The new approach will allow digital converters to eliminate cure time for instant converting and shipping. Overall cost and complexity barriers are lowered with this new concept. “The Pack Ready Lamination Solution will enable HP Indigo customers to run small jobs with minimal waste and complexity versus traditional lamination systems” says John Price, President of Karlville.
Karlville announced earlier this year commercial availability of the HP Indigo Pack Ready Laminator for HP Indigo digital presses. Karlville is licensed as a manufacturer and supplier of the HP Indigo Pack Ready laminator technology.
At Labelexpo Europe in Brussels, between September 25 and 28, Karlville will present their machines in two booths: at the HP Stand 5C200 (Patio), Karlville will showcase the Pack Ready Laminator in live demonstration; and in parallel, Karville will showcase their line of shrink sleeve converting machines in Hall 8 Stand 8B39.
